Being Friends Online

Unless you haven’t been online for long, you’ve probably heard of a new concept called social networking sites….

So, what does it mean?

Social network sites allow you to connect with old friends and make new ones — sort of like a giant dinner party with old friends that never ends. And, you don’t have to talk to that creepy person who keeps wanting to show his photos, if you don’t want to:-)

These types of sites aren’t really That new.. MySpace.com has been round for a long time, but it’s really been more for the teenie bopper crowd.

Today, there are 2 major players that are both fun and easy to use:

Facebook and Twitter.

If you don’t have an account with either of these, I highly recommend it.

Just go to:

FaceBook.com

and you’ll see “Sign up for Facebook” and “It’s f’ree and anyone can join”..

You’ll be surprised at how easy it is to track down roommates from college, old high school friends, and people you were in Boy or Girl Scouts with…

Once you get an account, search for “Julieanne van Zyl” (that’s me) and also “John van Zyl” and add us as a friend.

My page is also here:

Julieanne van Zyl Facebook

Got that done?

As soon as I see your name pop up, I’ll add you as a friend, and we’ll be able to share ideas, messages, videos and all sorts of stuff.

Next, get on Twitter, which is like blogging one sentence at a time.

Twitter.com

After you register your f’ree account, hit the “follow” link on my page at:

Twitter Julieanne van Zyl

Twitter is great for connecting and sharing on a one to one level, and it’s amazing how easy it is to get questions answered or get almost immediate feedback.

Want someone to give you advice about something you’ve written?

Get on Twitter.

Want to find out the least expensive restaurant in LA?

Get on Twitter.

I’ll see you online, add me as a friend on Facebook, and “follow” me on Twitter, and we’ll be able to get know each other better.!

Nothing to buy - they are free - hope to see you on both sites soon!

Internet Network Marketing with Verve Drink

There’s a difference between Internet Marketing and Internet Network Marketing. Internet marketers usually need to market more than one product, so they can earn a full time living. For example, if an internet marketer decided to sell energy drinks online, they would either:

1) Need to find a drop shipper who holds stock and delivers to customers as they order off the site. The internet marketer has to find a way to accept payment, which could mean a large merchant banking fee each month, plus they have to fiddle around with accepting the money and sending the money and details to the drop shipper.

OR

2) Purchase bulk amounts of the product themselves and ship it to people as they order. As you can imagine, this could be a huge job, and also involves merchant bank fees.

On the other hand, a network marketer can market the Verve Energy drink online, and have it shipped directly from the company’s warehouse. The internet network marketer doesn’t see the product and doesn’t see any monetary transactions. The company does all that for them. The network marketing company also handles any returns or complaints from the customer.
